In the search for happiness, peace, and restfulness, people believe that engagement in various sensual activities will satisfy their needs. On the contrary, an analysis of the results of material stimulation including the use of and dependence upon mind-altering substances leads to agitation, anxiety, anger, conflict, and depression.
