Self-centeredness leads us away from our true inner spiritual nature, where real happiness and spiritual love is to be found. While the selfie-epidemic may seem harmless (because it is so common), not so long-ago selfies would have been viewed as somewhat narcissistic and not healthy. What is the spiritual view on self-centeredness and its’ harmfulness? Any point to consider is that a lot of us will have difficulty dealing with this topic in an open and objective manner. We tend to immediately reject something as untrue (“that’s your opinion!” is a common response), just because we don’t like what we hear and because we have become so attached to what we “believe”. Hopefully, this talk will be beneficial for everyone.
